One of the key elements to any successful training program is consistency.  In order for a program to work you need to consistently monitor your progress and stick with the program.

Another important aspect is determination to succeed.  Undoubtedly, there will be times when you want to give up or don't feel like working out for some reason. However, staying focused on the long term goal is a strategy that can help get you through those trying times.  Often the workout you engage in when you least want to is one of the best workouts you will have.
